Focaccia: (pronounced “foh-kah-sha”) Aaaaahh, we go a bit Italian with this take on a French bread. This bread doesn’t look a thing like anything else we make. Instead, it’s a flat round topped with pesto or olive oil, some cheese and sundried tomatoes and always with fragrant herbs and garlic. You can eat it as is or warm it up and add toppoings to serve it like a pizza. Or, if you’re feeling really adventurous, open it up, fill it with meats and cheeses and serve it hot or cold. So, delicioso! Tomato Herb: This bread is so pretty. The red color by itself tells you right away that is something special and unusual. When you want something Italian, or simply want something delicious to go with just about any dinner, this will do the trick. Absolutely delicious also as a grown-ups version for grilled cheese sandwiches. Serve it with any tomato based soup and your guests will think you are oh-so-clever. Jalapeno Cornbread: Hola! We find ourselves baking this a lot because it seems everyone likes to spice up their life a bit! Cornmeal and diced jalapenos give this earthy bread a little zip and zing. We love it. Try it as a tuna sandwich or do your next grilled cheese sandwiches on it. Ay-yi-yi, esta es muy bueno! Adios! Oregon Herb: A salute to our neighboring state and their delicious herbs! It features dill and onion and is so good served with a simple grilled or baked salmon. It’ll make you want to plan a trip to the Oregon coast while you linger or over dinner. Sun-dried Tomato Pesto: Slice me up and serve me as an appetizer. This bread is truly good enough to go solo because all of the usual toppings are baked right in: sundried tomatoes, pesto, roman and parmesan cheeses and a pinch of garlic. Volunteer to bring appetizers to the next potluck! This bread won’t let you down. Irish Baked Potato Bread: Begosh and begorra, tis a fine day indeed whenever this bread is on your dinner table! This hearty bread features chunks of real baked potatoes and cheese. Doesn’t have to be an Irish dinner though. Try this bread as meatloaf sandwiches. You’ll forget all about looking for leprachauns. Potato Chive: Think of this bread as the whole baked potato! Everything you love about a baked potato thrown into a loaf of bread. Roasted Garlic Rosemary: Roast some garlic and then tease it with some rosemary. Then pair it up with a really good pasta sauce. Then try not to drift off to heaven. Why go, when life is so fragrant right here on earth?! Popeye: If Popeye lived in Snohomish County we just know this would be his favorite. It’s packed full of spinach and bits of red pepper. Great soup and sandwich bread or grilled in the summer.
